Your house is now affordable housing.
$14k PER MONTH???
Feel like that was created just for a corporate lease⦠hopefully no individual will be spending that amount.
Note to self: market condo as corporate leaseā¦
Good grief. How much do you have to make to pay $14k per month in rent?
I know where I wonāt be living
Based off the 33%, then it looks like $504k gross/yr.
Donāt worry The Cardinal is gonna have a $35k a month penthouse
Given the location, maybe they are aiming for some Hurricane players.
$168,000/yr if you know how to pay no taxes like a real rich person. And donāt need food, transportation, utilities, or a social life.
wow I almost passed out when looked at the 3br lookout. 1/2 size of my house and rent would buy it in 3.3 years !!!
And house comes with better views 50 miles from south-west around to west and back to east. I do not think I will be moving back to Raleigh anytime soon.
Hereās what $14k per month got Anthony Bourdain in 2018.
We might have reached the top for the Raleigh rental market. I donāt see how you can justify that price given the location and its surroundings. Congrats you are next to a highway and are walking distance to Harris Teeter and CowFish barā¦we call this Midtown.
My kitchen is nicer than that. And the weather is better here. No wonder he travelled so much. I donāt get Manhattan prices. But I guess thereās more to do if youāre rich than here.
Wow, have to work 3 shifts per day.
At least the floorplans are awful.
Much of low-rise North Hills is built over parking decks so tearing it down is easier said than done. Itās only about 17 or 18 years old; Canāt imagine they will be redeveloping any of that for at least another 20 or 25 years.
The parking lots, outparcels, and old Harris Teeter building along Six Forks will be next to go.
The original North Hills mall didnāt last 40 years. Iād say 15 years top before it gets remodeled.
The current iteration, meaning the entirety of the North Hills development, has been constantly under ārenovationā since Kane started with the first phase. Whether or not that is going to include razing the first phase sooner rather than later will be a function of demand and/or changing patterns of shoppers and entertainment seekers.
Thatās what I was thinking would probably be the long term plan too. Itāll be interesting to see its continued evolution. I forget where but was looking at an image of one of itās previous/original incarnations in the late 60s the other day. Such a stark contrast, I doubt I can even fathom how the area will look in 50 years from now.
