RIP Finch’s. I really miss sitting there Sunday mornings while it’s slammed packed and I’m questioning everything I did the night before.
Loved how the owners finessed the city into a retirement fund too.

Metro Diner at Sutton Square is generally hoppin’…I could see another location finding success DTR
I am also sorry to see Finch’s go. In HS had a morning paper route and would stop off when finished for quick breakfast before heading off to school.
Is Mecca going to reopen? They used to have breakfast.
Boy do I miss Finch’s. I could walk there in just a few minutes and loved every bit of the nostalgia that the place served on a daily basis. I fondly remember how sections of the newspaper were just left on tables and chairs, and It was no big deal to just ask your neighbor for a section.
We need diners!!!
WRAL: Raleigh Six Forks Project Hits Expensive Roadblock
Maybe this will cause changes to the plans. I don’t want 6 lanes.
Took a quick glance at the Eastern website to see if anyone took the plunge on the crazy expensive penthouses. Compared to the 33rd and 34th floor, looks like some people snagged some of the 35th floor rentals
Maybe the market is there for someone looking to spend $6-14k a month on rent…
Those prices are nothing compared to what the Cardinal is rumored to be charging for their penthouses in the new tower, $15,000-$35,000 a month
I know the Cardinal is more geared towards older people but does that price mean it is more assisted living kinda residences? My wife works in healthcare and she explained to me the prices of that stuff for older folks and it’s ridiculously expensive.
Yes there is assisted living there, but those are on the independent living side
That’s pretty crazy. I guess they’re marketing towards the rich ITB folks as they get older?
I can’t say names because of hippa and such, but there’s some massive names in raleigh who live there
Hippa potamus lives there?! Yes!
I just love it tho. You could buy a new car every month or live in an old folks home in North Hills. I don’t know which seems weirder.
I’m glad it’s expensive another case for GUCCI or Louis Vuitton to be there. The more luxury apartments the more the median income rise.
What ??? I’m sorry, but some of your replies leave me baffled
The more it cost to live here the demand for Gucci store goes up based on the rich clientele.
That’s your choice money can’t buy happiness, but it could buy you a piece of mind.
This shirt would buy me 20 tanks of gas and that would a piece of mind.
