Okay so none of y’all like Gucci so what y’all are at least in the minority with that opinion as I stated something I just don’t like different we need to do the traditional way always.
Some? Characters!!!
Would you like to see Gucci here?
So everyone else on here is in the minority, yet you’re the only one on here saying you want it, right
Uh, yeah. It’s called “logic”
Well you guys might be in the minority in the whole city of Raleigh.
Y’all just don’t wanna Gucci, all I have to say is too bad for growth we must allow things to be here.
The more it costs to live in Raleigh, the less money one has to buy expensive bowling shirts.
If someone really wants Gucci, just go to Crabtree, there are stores there that sell it, we really don’t need high end luxury/designer stores when this is a city focused around middle class households.
Really, of the however many people on this forum, you’re the only one saying you want this, so doesn’t appear that way now does it? Logic is a great tool, might want to use it sometime
Anywho…
Drove by North Hills on the way to Funguys Brewing for their 4th anniversary celebration and noticed the former JCPenny lot is coming out of the ground with some pillars. Anybody made any trips by there recently?
Also saw The Cardinal is moving (up) and right along.
Of what I can see based on the numbers on the elevator doors, it looks as if their at the 18th floor and should be topping out soon. I also should be getting a power point of the interior short so I’ll share when I get it!
I walked over there today. Didn’t see anything to really take pictures of yet. I was also on the phone so I was distracted.
I think someone had mentioned Fox and the Hound closing down on a thread. I thought it was an April Fool’s joke. Today I found out it was actually closed.
Looks like North Hills is having the same vacant store problem malls are having. I’m not sure why that Starbucks closed. I didn’t pay attention today but it seemed there was a coffee truck outside where the Starbucks was.
On the Crabtree Valley Mall side, I noticed Oakley closed and about 4 other stores including Amazon 4 Star store and Red Monkey. I was kind of surprised by Red Monkey. I’ve never been but I thought restaurants would have been doing well. Pandora looks like it’s either expanding or moving.
I had mentioned Fox and Hound, and it was indeed real unfortunately.
I’ve been to Red Monkey a few times and it had gotten pretty crappy even before the pandemic. I had heard they closed but wasn’t sad at this point.
OTOH, two new places have opened up recently on the east side of NH. Jubala coffee and a burger joint where b.good used to be. I was over there Wednesday night around 7pm and there were a lot of people milling around. Perhaps because that side has a lot of residential.
I said maybe not in this forum, but you guys are in the minority in the whole city probably.
I’m just done with you, you clearly are just talking to talk
No I’m literally putting out my demands for Raleigh.
Maybe write to Gucci (and move to Charlotte while you wait for their reply for your own mental health). None of us here are standing in the way of your dream of designer stores and chain steakhouses lining our streets.
