The “Frequent Transit Development Option” map mentioned here

does include a “Beltline alternate crosstown” routing that hugs the 440 outer loop - some mix of the current 27, 24L, 15L routes + connectors via Northbrook and Highwoods. It allows for substantial density on current SFH parcels, though the covenants are going to be a challenge as well.
