I was invited to join the YIMBY Raleigh ListServ and have been party to email exchanges between MAB and Stef Mendel, and let me tell you, those interactions alone on topics like ADUs and “neighborhood character” have solidified my position for MAB. This is a wonderful development for our future politics.

i voted for former raleigh mayor charles meeker against her, but ill still be sad to see her face gone. it’s been there since my first raleigh visit, where i was like… wtf is this lady doing in every elevator?

More on Saige Martin, hearing that he’s raised over $40K so far and has hired a legit campaign manager. This bodes well for putting up a good challenge against Crowder in District D.

I would vote for anyone over Crowder. I’ve lived in her district for 6 years, hopefully he can actually beat her. I would like to know his views on downtown development tho.

from reading the indy story above and other reports on that site, would seems that there needs to be a clearing of a lot of self interest dead wood out of the council.

I encourage everyone to call Crowder’s office to complain about her stance on this. She is preventing taxable growth that could help so many of Raleigh’s poor. She is preventing major Fortune 500 companies from developing offices in our DT. She is preventing dense walk-ability which will help our wonderful environment.
