All of Millbrook could use some serious traffic calming, but especially the 35MPH section between Six Forks and Atlantic. There’s numerous accidents a year solely from people driving way too fast down it. The police print money every time they do speed enforcement on that section.
Carolina Corsairs? chars
Oh yeah I did get a chance to walk on one of your great greenways. This time the Crabtree Creek greenway near Raleigh Blvd. I love wetlands and boardwalks like this. I tell people in Charlotte our plan for greenways is to be like Raleigh (as you have many more miles than we do). I try to walk on a different one every time I am up there. (this was after my lunch at Little Rey at RIW) Keep on building them Raleigh! (and Cary too!)
Oh hey I used to live over there and loved this section! Especially the turtles!
Haven’t been in years sadly. Glad you got to visit!
get a cheap loaf fo bread and get the turtles and occaisional mallards to feed.
Shouldn’t feed wild life, period.
I only feed the wildlife organic, ancient grain artisan rolls from LaFarm.

i have bird feeders in my backyard…none of the 17 species that frequent them seem to mind. ill even use a bluetooth speaker using songs from https://ebird.org/home to play species songs form other parts of the world…northern cardinals take interest in the Pyrrhuloxia. if a food shortage is occurring at the greenway gunk, bread might not be the worst thing…the turtles ate half of it. i get it , i dont eat white bread either.

I’m personally really excited about this project as it will provide a way to get across 440 and to Crabtree Creek trail from points north. I’m just worried that the bridge part won’t happen for another ten years.
Yes. Me too. This is just form Crabtree creek to 440. Bridge over 440 is a separate project.unfortunately…
Bridge over 440, over budget in 2035…
