Heck yeah, I’ll be there in my Wales jacket! The Dragons being in the same group as the US really put a damper on the one time in like a decade any American ever thinks about the land of my ancestors.
Client Dempsey, probably our coolest-ever national teamer, also has a team in the tournament, so hopefully he’ll make the rounds on the sidelines.

In a headline about SVB being sold, Morning Brew referred to First Citizens as neither a Raleigh-Durham-based nor a Raleigh, NC-based, but just a Raleigh-based bank. This is the first time I think I’ve seen a national news outlet refer to Raleigh without attaching Durham or the rest of the state to it. Feels like we might be moving onto some standalone city name lists in some style guides.

Not that I think that alone is a big deal, but it does likely signal that more and more folks are familiar enough with the city to know where it is. This might be especially true for folks in San Jose since companies there have outposts in the Triangle.

I love the “Visit Raleigh” wallpaper behind the opponents bench at PNC Arena. I spoke with one of our consultants n Winnipeg. They knew of Raleigh.
