Thinking of other possible downtown arena sites… the Federal building at New Bern & Person… that block has the exact same dimensions as the Bridgestone Arena block in Nashville. Somehow get the State and Fed Govts to team up on a office building and parking deck project on the NC Bar block so the Fed offices (and parking) can be relocated.
1 block to the GoRaleigh Bus Hub where all BRTs converge(?). Breathe new life into Fayetteville St / City Market entertainment areas.
