Raleigh Stadium/Arena/Sports Discussions

Commuter rail lines that run to the majority of all of Raleighs inner belt line and to neighboring towns outside of the belt line. Consistent bus routes that can get people to and from the stadium, and that people would actually consider using (this goes for both buses and trains). Updated roadways and traffic lights within the city to deal with 30k plus people coming to an MLB game for 71 games a year (which is roughly the average per game), not to mention the other events the stadium would hold. This would also mean paying police and other first responder to help manage the security at games and traffic etc.

At the end of the day I’m with you, I really want us to land another team. I participated in the MLS for Raleigh campaign that happened years ago when Dan Garber came to city Market. I really thought we were going to get it back then…then David Tepper showed his bank acct to MLS and it was over.
