Anyone share this yet?
I’ll walk over later in the afternoon and take a snap after the last steel beam is placed.
I guess that
was cut down and made into a
?
I did in fact go by and snap some photos around 8PM and after the drizzle ended. While the “hat” top seems complete in steel, there’s still a lot more to come.
That said, you will still see the ceremonial red beam still sitting on the ground in the first photo.
I’m not understanding … the press release states the “Final steel beam” is being placed… do they just mean it’s “topped out” now? Otherwise… what is the entire right side of the stage going to be if not more steel beams?
Jake, you know how local reporting goes. Right side still has to be constructed
Yeah, it was a bit of a lie, wasn’t it?
I see that they do have a
but it looks artificial.
I had the same concern for a moment, because some of the renderings are only showing the left side. But I did find this, and reassured myself that I’m not insane… It’s just lazy reporting.
Isnt Topping Off when they finish just the high point?
I thought it was when someone refilled my nearly empty glass of bourbon.

I guess that it is the last steel beam above the stage.
I mean, they really should have completed the steel framing on the entire thing and THEN put up that last beam. It would have been more memorable.
am i crazy if i kinda prefer the asymmetrical look?
