Rockway Apartments - S. Saunders/Lake Wheeler Developments

Do not be sad about the seafoam green. It was just not meant to be.
And oh we should be oh so glad that the color of the Wild West did not spread further south to poison the lovely work of a Kane masterpiece.
(Just because he ruined one doesn’t mean he has to ruin everything)

Aren’t pigs color blind anyway?? :pig:

Now who wouldn’t want to live in such a happy building??

Even the deck paint is such an improvement over the raw concrete - I wish Kane would do this to the Line at Smoky hollow’s deck that sticks out.

This may end up being the most aesthetically pleasing 5-over-1 in the city with all the paint and metal siding.

You want to employ the baby turtles to paint the building? :turtle:

At least we know they’d pick our new marine inspired favorite color for their artistry.

From TBJ today:
The team behind Boulted Bread, Jubala Coffee and Bright Spot Donuts is opening a new bagel joint in Raleigh.

Benchwarmers Bagels, currently operating in Transfer Co. Food Hall, has signed a lease for a 4,000-square-foot space at Kane Realty’s Rockway development. The new development, located at 1021 S. Saunders St. near Dorothea Dix Park, features apartments, structured parking and ground-floor retail.

The new location for Benchwarmers will be directly below The Row Apartments, a 335-unit apartment building that’s opening this year.

LOL it was posted about yesterday in the Restaurants thread, and I supplied a second article in response. So I think that gives you a third place medal, as is the custom on here!

A little paint goes a looooong way, this is making it look so much better and less “unfinished” - do The Line next, Kane!!!

And not a seafoam :seafoam_green:to be found on this side of the parking deck. All peace and calm and very Row.

Yes!! I was just so excited to finally see some paint that I couldn’t wait to share!!

To all who love completion. Our world may not always be 100 percent in order but the Row building parking deck has passed the test. Completed and no :seafoam_green:
