A few update pics from downtown Cary. One of the new parking decks with retail, one of the new apartment buildings, and a couple new houses taking the place of a single house.
Lol what? Weird. He was deleting all the grouchy comments. No idea what goes on in that group but it seems like a bunch of old people angry that 1960 Cary nostalgia isnât carrying on.
Edit: apparently it was because of the pictures of the giant signs with QR codes the builder put up. Sharing that online was too personal. Oh Cary lol
Love all the pics from downtown Cary. But itâs rural very close by, and as someone else said in another topic on density/sprawl, everyone knows that âeveryone living in the rural areas are unemployed.â
I had to laugh at that one!

It will be March 15 a Saturday. About an hour and half with plenty of time to eat and spend some money in downtown Asheville. This is really interesting. Wouldnât it be a great experiment to do this on DT streets that arenât state run, and/or high traffic routes like McDowell, Dawson, Hillsborough and Peace?
Brick is such a brand identifying material for NC, and roads like this have the possibility of really building a strong local identity for Raleighâs downtown.
I love a good marquee! Checking out Charlottesville for the weekend. They have this âCvilleâ thing going on that Iâm not sold on though.
