Smoky Hollow Phases 1, 2, and 3

LOL good gracious. If they can turn a profit, good for them. Not sure what it says about us tho…

My dog reveals his gender every time he lifts his leg to pee on something.

I have no idea how some good restaurants can’t turn enough profit to stay open, but someone is going to pay top dollar rent selling ice cream for dogs? How much for a scoop, $200? Or do they expect hundreds of people to flock there every day for years to come? How do they even get approved for a business loan? So many questions…

Waste of space. Not surprised though, pretty on-brand for a John Kane development.

Also, who was it that was complaining about dog shit being everywhere around Smoky Hollow awhile ago? Brace yourself, it’s gonna get 10x worse now…

At least the dogs will have some beer nearby to wash down their ice cream and baked goods…

Please tell me the gender reveal is for humans. In practical form, is that even possible for dogs with a litter of 5-10 puppies?

Nothing surprises me anymore so it probably is for dogs and people spend $2k on a Saturday to take 200 pictures of the whole thing.

… anthropomorphic behaviors towards pets are often driven by temporary fashions that may have a detrimental effect on animal welfare, both physically (e.g., dermatological, orthopedic, and nutritional diseases) and emotionally (e.g., fear, anxiety, aggressiveness). Not less importantly, in some cases, they may pose a risk for public health …

I think you might have a conflict of interest with this dog place…

Also, we took a vote, and you have the best avatar/username combination on here.

Lol. In my defense, I do not place hats on real cats, nor do I dress them. I do not throw felines birthday parties either.

Man good luck to this Salty Paws owner. Apparently they’re confident enough to think they’re gonna open a second location :joy:

Not gonna lie, I would go for a puggle meetup with my dog, and get him a treat too. Is lactose bad for dogs? He’s definitely eaten pizza, mac and cheese, etc. and is still doing just fine.

My 13 year old schnoodle recently learned the word “treat” and now asks for treats every night. HAHA I’m sure she would be all in for some ice cream.

My two seconds-ing of google confirmed that yes it is possible for them to be? My two definitely aren’t as they’ve had waaaaaay too much queso probably

@Nickster only learning the word treat after 13 years?? My two are like 4 and 3.5 and that was one of the first words they learned

One of our older dogs was diabetic, so we never gave any of our three furkids any treats. Now Opal is an only dog for the first time in her life, so she is getting spoiled.

That makes sense. My friend has a dog that can’t eat chicken so they have to be very judicious with everything since chicken/chicken by product is in about all dog food.

Just paying the dog picture tax by this picture, but to keep it on topic, I think George, the puggle, would love an ice cream date.

Hopefully they’ll have a puggle meetup! @GucciLittlePig we’ll have to take him out on an outing once they open.

Oh I’m totally off topic here, but since everyone is posting pics of their dogs, I’ll drop this here and @dtraleigh can move it if it belongs somewhere else!

They can’t make feeding humans work (J. Lights) and we supposed to believe that a dog focused venue is going to work?

How about a dog friendly venue to feed both humans and dogs?

Well there’s less competition with dog related food places. Maybe it’ll draw people (and dogs) from miles and miles around!
