The future of Caswell Square

Is anything planned to go here?

If not I’d love to see a modern brick and mortar building replace it or even a small square/park

So the 3rd best building on that square goes, the 2nd already gone. At least the best building is still standing, though so is the ugliest.
I certainly hope that this is returned to green space over time, save the oldest building. We could use a square in this quadrant of downtown.

I’m hugely in favor of returning it to green space/public square while saving whichever buildings are important historically. Return at least part of the square to its original purpose/design.

You know they’ll put up a parking lot…

That was a cool old building. I hate that it was taken down. As others have said, if that has to come down I would like to see the property returned to its use as a public square as envisioned in the Christmas Plan.

Do they still have those mustard powder coated pretzels?

They do. I had them today. Even made a robot out of some.

If You close, just left of the Quarun Center, you can see 301 crane, so once built it will look great coming up the street.

At least be a grassy field in the meantime.
Are there any nearby city-owned sites that could be swapped for this block?
