It’s giving Planet Fitness, but I’m looking forward to the new space!

Will these new buildings have ground retail like Platform does?

Also, I did the good ole google maps street view time lapse to see what this area looked like in the not so distant past (2018-2019 time period) and lets just say its had quite the transformation! Awesome to see.

I’m gone for a mere two weeks and everything changes. Now we have brick. :brick: But whose complaining less area for seafoam green :seafoam_green:

There’s always still time to paint it!

Interesting brick choice. Needs more seafoam green…

I’d rather have different bricks than all of those buildings having the same brick.

Yeah agreed. But frankly I’d rather have that brick on all of it instead of their 17 exterior finishes. I know you feel me on that premise at least
:joy:

That building is starting to grow on me. At least phase 2. As long as they stay away from adding the color to not be named. The brick and paint color add some interest I wasn’t expecting especially given the ugliness of phase 1.And yeah I never got all the facade kitchen sink add ons.

The reality is that these gigantic 5 over 1 buildings require :lipstick: on a :pig: .

You feel me?

They have all of these materials to distract you from the fact that these are gigantic 7 floor boxes. Some designers do a better job than others.

All brick, or mostly brick, looks something like this. IMO, I think this comes with its own dystopian issues.

This could work if the building had more detail, but it just doesn’t. Triple the height and you practically have Soviet apartment blocks. Thankfully this is short and has trees planted in front of it.

They have those hotel-wall-AC-unit-knockout looking plain siding panels under the windows on the front facade (similar to the seafoam panels on Platform), so I’m sure they have some kind of accent color planned.
