Where in Raleigh was this picture taken? Take a picture, post, and let us guess

You’re getting warm.

Bingo! (It’s actually on North St, but close enough)
I’m pretty sure this sits empty now.

Oh right other side of the block. Its owned by the State still. I had a meeting in it 10years ago and the biggest surprise to me was those two giant windows on the right simply sit in the stairwell.

I was trying to figure out how those windows fit into the house floor plan. To bad its stairs, I was hoping for a story & half ball/assembly room.

That is correct. @Justin6882 got it earlier :star:

What I would assume too. Turns out the house is pretty tiny inside. I wish I knew its history…has the feel of a fancy guest house of the Hawkins. (the Hawkins had an even bigger mansion just across North St too that was torn down. Would have stolen the thunder from Heck Andrews were it still here.

Maybe I cropped too much out to provide clues, but it is plain sight.

I’ve seen that inscription—it’s the post office on Fayetteville St.

If it’s not the post office like Jack said, then Maybe the court of appeals on the Morgan St side
