Where in Raleigh was this picture taken? Take a picture, post, and let us guess

No. It is located within a few blocks from the Capitol

@Mark, you’re not getting any love on yours. I’m not posting 'cause I have a guess, but hoping somebody does!

If this was reddit, I’d have negative Karma. No worries though. Feel free to name it.

Yes! You got it! :100::100::100:

I have an idea, but need to swing by it while I am out on my sanity walk to be sure.

Are you saying this building was torn down? Is it/was it by any chance on Boylan?

It was torn down, but recently enough for everyone on this board to have been familiar with it.

I think you got it but I’ll just say you’re warm…

Is this the back of that store that Gensler was occupying on Hillsborough while they were building One Glenwood? Or right next to the old Dram & Draught.

I thought Gensler was in the tan brick one, but if you mean this one, then, yes, that’s it.

Well, that blows up my theory - oh well. Will still need to go on my sanity walk later.

Holy Trinity Church - Peace Street.

Where were you thinking? There are a handful that were built in this era and style left here and there.

One of the buildings off Glenwood South, near Hillsborough Street.

Ringer. You got it. Winner.

Guessing you meant this one. Fun fact, before the storefront, it had a third story tower in the center.

So, if it’s within a few blocks of the Capitol, then what rule are you breaking? I’m truly confused now!

I believe it’s the rule that the person who correctly guesses the location of the picture is the person who gets to post the next picture
