121 Fayetteville

Their web site is still up. I’m sure they’re still working on it but all projects in Raleigh get delayed so it’s not unexpected that there’s no movement on this project yet.

121 Fayetteville St. and 400 H are both in site review with the city . 121 is more complicated because of the parking deck that Wells Fargo uses .

But 121 was offering it own Parking Lot correct.

The appearance commission, strangely enough, does not really dictate building aesthetics. Here’s an article that gives examples of what it does.

No, it’s an extension to the Alexander Square lot, which Wells Fargo uses.

Heard through the grapevine that all of Kane’s projects not currently under construction are going on hold.

This wasn’t technically a Kane project, was it? I thought Kane was just going to manage the property?

But if that’s true, SmoHo III  :sob: :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

ahhh, “on hold” probably just meaning they’re focusing all attention to currently under construction projects, and will get back to future projects when they have a better idea of what the money situation and potential tenant situation will look like. This may mean some of his proposals are abandoned, or scaled back, but I’m sure some will resume in the future. I don’t see any way he just abandons them all.

It’s a PAC project managed by Kane. PAC also just announced they are building apartments off of Jones Franklin. 277 units in a 5 story building.

Should take that long especially if there offering a extended parking and parking lot with the building.

Some one look at this on TBJ and pleas tell me it’s not a replacement for 121 Fayetteville plans.

Owner of Wells Fargo buildings in Raleigh eyes new development The owner of a Raleigh office park wants to add a new building up to seven stories tall.

It’s not. This out on Corporate Center Drive.

I love how they referred to a 7-story building as a “tower”. Seems like our definition of a tower keeps getting shorter and shorter. I guess if we expand this definition a little more you could say that I work in a 4-story office tower in Morrisville. LMAO!!

In relation to the discussion about the Creamery, @R-Dub this is a build I think is in the wrong place. I am sure nearly everyone will disagree with me, but I don’t want any building this tall looming over Union Square.

The same argument was used when the Wells Fargo building was proposed. I don’t believe that Union Square has suffered.
