The lights on the building looked great tonight… the actual Pendo sign you wouldn’t know was there though lol. It’s rough.
I actually like how it’s not white, like every other large sign on a billion buildings are. It’s something different and not the ordinary.
I like the reflection of the 400h crane on the Pendo building.
I like it fine during the daytime, but at night with the lights on behind it, it is impossible to read.
I don’t believe they’ve done their “tuning” of the lights yet.
EDIT: Only the Pendo sign hasn’t been adjusted yet. The rest are fully functional.
Pendo going to be filling up their new office space. 400 new hires coming this year.
Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh just ok
I really also want to see renderings for the other phase of this. I need to be able to picture it.
Finally. They’ve been struggling to fill this tower with anyone other than Pendo. I guess that means they still have a few floors of office space to lease.
Talked to a few brokers today and they stated that 301 Hillsborough has by far the best leasing activity in the urban core area. Also, I wouldn’t call it struggling, covid has affected everything in the leasing world and tenants are scared to sign new leases.
These may go down as my worst pics yet, but I love what they did to get the Pendo sign to stand out, and with the top floors lit up it looks really nice.
So no more bright pink lights on that crown?
Definitely better contrast for the logo. My understanding is those lights are programmable, so in theory, they could keep the three light columns that connect with the logo white and illuminate the remainder of the tower as they desire…?
Heard a rumor that the second phase might be on hold… it looks like the fencing in the lot for the second phase is gone.
Ugh why?! I hate phased projects. Phase 2 always seems to get delayed, canceled, or watered down.
I am not sure exactly why but it’s a rumor in the market with leasing brokers
Material costs are out of control. Confirmed on hold while navigating that not insignificant challenge.
