Where’s the elevator operator when you need him!? Please tell these people why this building sucks balls.

Looks better from the west than the east but still good. Better than the 400 footers we have right now imo. 2023 is earlier than I thought they’d be starting so I’m pumped for it.

After:

This really drives home what the 400-footers in the warehouse district will do.

Hardly a skyline difference maker, but I think you’re missing the McDowell/Davie hotel in the After model

No I’m just anticipating it’ll take 10 years to finish. :stuck_out_tongue:

That looks like a legend.

Plus the towers set for the core the downtown.

Could you possibly do this with all proposed, under construction, approved/pending construction projects?

It’s a work in progress. I chip away at it over time. You can see the Creamery just barely in the corner though… Glenwood South is time consuming to work on but it’s getting there.

That triangular building on the top left reminds me though, we need a unique building like that over by RCC.

Bizjournal reporting:

[Legend’s owner Tim] Bivens said that he and co-owner Matt Cozzi are currently deciding between opening Legends on the ground floor of the new tower – which is being developed by High Street Residential, a subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company of Dallas – or moving the concept to a different location. The Legends complex includes View Bar & Gameroom and Flex Nightclub.

“We’re definitely not closing,” Bivens said. “We will continue to operate in some fashion, it’s just the question of where. We have some good options, but we haven’t finalized everything yet.”

I feel like Legends would be better served moving to a place outside of the new tower, still in walking distance of the current spot. Legends in the ground floor of a tower just… isn’t going to feel like Legends.

What? No it doesn’t… Flex was its own bar, no?
