From last night, but a lot of activity at this site.
Looking forward to not seeing wood frame as this rises!
I love it the construction
Nice job in the construction looking good
based on the timeline since the tower crane was erected and the amount of work that has been completed, it looks like they are running behind schedule. I would have expected at least 2-3 levels completed.
I don’t know much (at all) about construction but it seemed/looked like they had to do some remediation with the pylons. Maybe it was standard work.
Arch and April the tower should start showing up
Wow, sure the concrete is dry? No BS on this one, they are moving with a purpose. Awesomeness.
I don’t think this crane has been pictured from this angle yet! A little tough to see (look a bit to the left) but it really shows how much of an impact this building is going to have on the skyline.
It’s a gap filler for sure!!
Yeahhhh Boyyyyyyy!!!
Tnink about how it will look once the Holiday Inn is replaced with a building as equally tall as the Pendo building
Couldn’t they at least tweak the design to anything other than square?
Pendo is a good example of square meets flare, minus that parking deck of course.
Three 20 story boxes? It’s gonna look like a glass wall from this angle LMAO
The good news is that the 18(?) story Bloc 83 Phase 3 will sit on a higher elevation, and more in the foreground, so it will likely add some height variation to that spot from this angle!

Hillsborough St could really use a 30+ story tower to break the monotony.

City Council should just upzone a huge swath of downtown to the 40-story zone (or a new 30-story zone), especially if they are going to say yes to every zoning change piece-by-piece. The entire area between Person, MLK, Peace, and Glenwood. Obviously, you would want some historic exceptions, but it would greatly increase property values and maximize flexibility. Fayetteville St is no longer the exclusive high-rise core.
