I lived in the brick building with the four white columns across the street from this for five years until 2012. It’s a 4-unit building, all 1br. It even has a basement. It was an awesome, affordable rental and we loved the neighborhood. Lots of great memories there.
This hotel is really going to dwarf everything else on Willard.

Drove by it yesterday. No other sections on site, just the base that’s been mounted.

It seems pretty common to assemble tower cranes on weekends so maybe it will go up next weekend or something.

I remember it being nearly a month with 301 Hillsborough from the crane base to assembly of the vertical pieces.
