Dang! Pictures in reverse! I forgot to post this from earlier so we’ll have a backwards progress of the field setup.

So, that’s the new downtown stadium for NCFC? What happened to Downtown South?

Had to swing by this morning to have a look at these myself. It’s an interesting use of the space.

Is this open to public play or is it just for sanctioned events? Atlanta has mini pitches at almost every MARTA station called Station Soccer through a partnership with MLS, it’s really cool and they’ve become quite the draw that you usually can’t even play.

Any idea what this crane is all about?

WRAL did a piece on this that states that it’s free for the public to use.

Probably AC work on a roof given the time of year. Total guess.

could this be a test to see how many people frequent it to see if the Soccer stadium project for Downtown south will do well. Maybe they are trying to see if people interest

Guaranteed it gets more use than the stadium would

I’m going to think positive about this because stadiums can also be used for concerts like singers coming to town or special events and I like going to concerts. So I would definitely buy tickets to see one at the downtown South Stadium.

Here we go

I still don’t understand why stuff like this is still happening when it’s been proven that vaccinated people are still getting/spreading COVID. There’s obviously a narrative being pushed by the media that the unvaccinated are the cause for everything when that’s simply not true.

Here are my favorite parts of the article that make you question everything, of course found all the way at the bottom:

"The Raleigh Convention Center is expected to host 25,000 people for GalaxyCon from Thursday to Sunday.

Additionally, guests plan to pack Red Hat Amphitheatre to see violinist Lindsey Stirling on Thursday.

Kerry Painter, who manages the venues, told WRAL city leaders are keeping a close eye on COVID metrics."

Cancel the outdoor event but continue with the two large indoor events, because of course Science.
