I think we have been slightly overlooking this project because we all secretly doubted it was going to happen. But assuming this does get built out I think this is easily the most impactful project in the works right now.

lol, what does that even mean? Iād like something, but I seriously doubt this will be in my range given the location. Even after selling our current place that is also downtown.

Yeah Iām not sure but I think it means it wonāt just be luxury but Iām sure they will still be pricy.
I agree. Iām pleasantly surprised that itās moving forward as fast as it is. Add this to the list of large, āfull blockā projects that are either recently completed, under construction, or planned for the city. When all of them are done, and I hope that there are others on the coat tails, it will be transformational.

Somehow, the parking pedestal as an architectural āinsertā looks more pleasing to me than the full blown sheetcake variety that we continue to see on projects around the country.
There is no pedestal on this building right? This has a large underground garage and a garage on the office building.
I was curious about that as well. It doesnāt look like there is a parking pedestal for the condo tower. Looks like balconies facing the park on all the bottom floors.
The design looks unneccessarily busy and overworked to me, but could be a lot worse. I really like the scale of something like this fronting the square. The firm is Elkus Manfredi of Boston.

I suppose that I am mistaking the cube at the corner as a parking element. I was presuming that those terraces were exposed area of a garage.
4 towers here is gonna be real dense, and then 3 towers over on 301 Hillsborough. 7 new towers is a lot at once.

I wish theyād wait for the new city council to push for added height. The apartment building could go higher without the need for anchor tenants or presales.
