New 3D renderings of the new indoor dog park coming to West St.
so they’re just gonna have dogs shitting inside? Man whoever gets hired to be the cleanup guy… have fun lmao
I think you’re supposed to clean up after your dog at any dog park… Lol
But yeah, that place is gonna smell amazing
Hey, hey, hey. Don’t forget about the piss! …and what about the possibility of flies, and fleas?
Who let the NIMBY crowd into this thread?
I don’t have a dog. It won’t be my problem. Poop away!!!
I just have to wonder why they don’t just create a roofed dog park to keep folks from getting wet when it rains.
Also, where exactly on West is this going to be?
It’s where the night club used to be 1st floor of the West Condos.
Why would you want to take the disco ball down?? Make it a feature! lol
So the West neighbors go from thumping to barking. It sounds like a tradeoff that I’d live with, especially since it won’t be a bark-fest at 2AM.
So the urine smell and flies and dirty floors will be about the same …
I’m not sure if these plans have been posted, but 3 new townhome buildings are coming to the corner of Boyland and W. North St. 16 units total all with 3 bedrooms around 1,500 square feet each.
If I had to guess $600k or more for these townhomes.
I saw this yesterday. Too bad they didn’t propose a 5 or 6 story condo building instead of townhouses. I feel like townhouses will look really out of place here in 5-10 years.
yep, let them poop and pee in there and not on sidewalks and yards where owners seem to think not their problem !!!
EDIT:Oops that’s yards not years
By that time someone else might buy the land and demolish the townhomes to build a denser apartment/condo building.
@Nickster & @trueurbanist This location is in the transition/tapering zone between downtown proper and the adjacent neighborhood. The 3 story townhouse building type is already pervasive throughout that far western part or Glenwood south (west of Boylan Ave.). This would be the 4th significant townhouse project built in the area bounded by Johnson on the north, Boylan on the east, St. Mary’s on the west, and Hillsborough on the south. IMO, it’s totally appropriate for that location.
um… any idea what become of this disco ball? I would buy that in a heartbeat
Correct, you’re supposed to… yet day in and day out I see dog shit everywhere, all of the time.
I’m thinking they’re gonna need to hire Poop Patrol to make sure these dog owners play nice and pick up after their dogs… otherwise they will be cleaning up after people, no doubt ![]()
I hope is does not smell like dog ass.
Narrator: “It did.”
