I don’t think it’s bad per se, but I think it’s pretty flavorless. It’s just there to soak up the (quite good) drinks while people enjoy the nice vibes. So I definitely trust them with a cocktail bar.
Had dinner last night and asked if they knew where La Mala would be. They said it was going to be in the same building as Cloud’s Brewing. Not sure if it’s going to be the same space, but that would make the most sense.
Tat particular building has such a nice set-up for dining with their side patio. I would hope that something with food would go in there.
Posted 12 hours ago, but was spotted here more than a day ago… we are the news.
I did see today there’s suppose to be a pop-up in late May and then a summer opening.
Summer meaning September 20th?

LOVE the sidewalk seating!!!
tomorrow, tomorrow, I’ll eat there tomorrow…only a day away!
So I grabbed an almond croissant to go and am having it with coffee now.
It’s my first time at La Farm so I didn’t know what to expect. The croissant is denser and heavier than I expected. It’s way more hearty than a typical French one that’s light and airy. It does seem to have an almond paste on it too. At $4.99 it’s not cheap, but at least the price includes the tax.
While I was waiting, I did put my eyes on the different loaves they had on the back wall. It certainly looks like a place to go when life calls for a specialty loaf for your dinner or event.
For those interested, I’m posting the sign with their hours. 7-7 seems reasonable and it’s nice to see it open later to grab something after work.
I implore you to try the white chocolate baguette next time. Nothing else they make comes close. It’s god-tier.
You’ve never been to La Farm?? I know walking everywhere has its downside, but the one at the airport was like the only place open that served decent food and alcohol for awhile. Do you not fly down to Miami?
If the Creamery project ever gets off the ground La Farm would probably be a good long term tenant if this place isn’t a permanent location.
Every time I’ve flown out of RDU the lines at that place have been more than I am willing to tolerate.
So I’m still confused about this being called a pop-up. They have it all set up like a permanent location. Why would they move at the end of the year?
(This is a general question to anyone.)
We just go sit at the bar. Never had a wait. The counter is for suckers.
Trouble is that I am not a fan of white chocolate. mwah mwah
