Anthony’s LaPiazza, a North Carolina Italian restaurant, is setting up shop downtown on the ground floor of the AC Hotel at 9 Glenwood Avenue. Construction has begun, but an opening date hasn’t been announced yet.

I was reading a thread on Nextdoor regarding Seaboard Station and someone mentioned that J Betski’s is going to open in a month or two in HighPark Village. I had heard that rumor a long time ago, but he said that he is certain they will be opening soon. Thrilled to hear this! Looking forward to having this option back in the rotation.

Soul Taco, a blend of Southern “soul” food and Latin American fare, is open at 927 W. Morgan St. in the bottom of the newish apartments near Goodnight’s. The other half of the business, JewFro, is not yet open.
