I had “Mexican food” once in Helsinki that was just atrocious. I don’t doubt that you found good Mexican food in Wroclaw, but I think it’s pretty safe to presume that there isn’t some giant Mexican community in Poland to create a Mexican or Mexican fusion culture of food throughout the country. After all, excluding the Ukrainian refugees that are still in the country, Poland is like 98% self identified Polish ethnics.
You don’t have to go overseas to get bad Mexican food. I’ve had Mexican food in Vermont and it was not a good experience.
That’s too bad. How was their Finnish food though?
Don’t know. Didn’t eat at a finish restaurant. They had some great places l, just not Mexican.
I thought the local food was really good when I was there!
It is me who goes to Finland. The reindeer is delicious.
Oh, that and the wild blueberry tarts and pies.
No one got my bad joke. It’s ok.
But I think you get put on Santa’s naughty list for eating reindeer…
I wish you luck in being funnier in the future.
I want to laugh…but that was actually kinda mean.
Ok I’ll admit that I still don’t get it.
I with you, and @John wishing @GucciLittlePig luck in being funnier going forward. Maybe ask a friend if what you’re about to type is funny or not. I bet they say, try again.
Sigh. I wasn’t really trying to be funny. People are just talking about Mexican food in Poland, Mexican food in Vermont, Mexican food in Finland, etc. It’s not really expected to get good food from one country in a different country. So I was just making a crack about wondering if they have good food from Finland in Vermont, because there’s no expectation they would.
But I feel like we’re losing sight of the main point, which is that John ate Santa’s reindeer…
I thought it was funny.
According to people on Reddit. Union Station Deli is opening next Thursday
See! Now that’s funny!
Good job!
To be fair, Blitzen was getting a little out of control.
Just reiterating the people that have already mentioned Press being a great addition to downtown. It’s a cool spot. The patios are awesome. The other one was pretty crowded at this time. Decent amount of people for a late afternoon coffee.
WRAL just reported that Cousins Lobster in Morgan Food Hall will close Aug 31. No reason given, just that they’ll be sticking to the food truck biz going forward.
Gotta say, I’ve never tried them because I always thought their prices were absurd.
