Which is EXACTLY why the RUSbus downgrades and abandonment of original grand plans is so disappointing and perplexing… these developments can and still do happen. I think in a short few years we’ll already be looking back at how RUSbus ended up as a shortsighted misfire.

You know what… you’re dead right hahahaha. I’m putting $20 on this development getting downgraded a few more times before demolition, too.
I see the current RUS as not being the last iteration of the train station. Hoping one day it will be replaced with a traditional train station layout probably where the north end of the Central Prison currently occupies. Maybe not in our lifetime unfortunately.

They’re all huge IMO hahaha. Similar sizes to what is normally offered in new developments. We need more MICRO retail spaces for truly small and local businesses that neither need nor can afford the 1000+ sq ft spaces.
EDIT: ok there’s ONE sub-1000 sq ft space. Better than none, for sure.

They killed off the nice tapered design for a simple box but at least it’s still about 36ish floors.
