Highline Glenwood and 404 Glenwood at The Creamery

I think if they got the grading permit but never did anything with it, it just gets voided - which makes sense. Maybe they wanted to lock in the building permit details first before kicking off the grading work :person_shrugging:

No idea if it means anything. But there were surveyors out around the property yesterday.

Anyone know why they’d be working on this roof when it’s about to get demolished?

Maybe they’re mining for bitcoin?

I am going to go out on a very long and fragile limb and say - maybe getting it safe for the demo work?

Could they be removing certain things that could cause issue if they were just bulldozed?

That’s a good question. It could be removing asbestos material leftover from from an old roof under the white membrane.

Back to optimistic this means demo is soon!

This feels like the nextdoor app. Somebody posts a picture of something or someone in the neighborhood, and then everyone becomes a vigilantly detective, and come to the conclusion that a person walking through the neighborhood barefoot must be up to no good. And somebody better call 911.

I left Nextdoor a while ago but my favorite was “what kind of snake is this?” You could easily google the image and find out faster than waiting for someone to answer on Nextdoor. And, of course, the answer would invariably be “the dead kind if it is in my yard.”

Your neighborly Nextdoor update. (The last one from this view as I move out today from this apartment)

Definitely looks like it could be asbestos cleanup. The guys working on it are all wearing masks.

Also looks like there’s some kind of work being doing in the parking lot. Maybe this project gets going soon :eyes:

5 sets of demo permits were issued by the city for this property on 7/1/25 for various trades. Could be really happening.

I believe that they have all of their permits approved, but they have not paid the fees yet.

I hope this doesn’t turn into another gravel parking lot.
