But, Iām right here with you. I think them acquiring the additional parcels really increases the odds of them following through with putting up a grocery store. I wouldnāt be surprised if this ends up being one of the busiest grocery stores in the the whole city.

Probably explains the helicopter Iām hearing above right now.
There has definitely been an increase in police presence around Moore sq and the bus station. Iāve seen them arrest 3 people in and around Moore sq and another person at the bus stop all within the last 2 weeks. They have been patrolling the area with 4 officers in a 4 person atv.

Increased police presence doesnāt stop idiots from firing guns. What it does do is increase the odds that we catch the people that are dumb enough to do it with increased police presence in the area.
Sounds like they already have a suspect in custody, so the increase presence did its job.
As much as Iād like a nice food stand, it might actually be worth considering turning Square Burger into a permanent police substation for this area.

Misinformation in the initial reports that this happened on S. Person. Incident actually occurred on E. Martin east of Person.
Both locations school adjacent but even a block away from Moore Square makes it more likely a neighborhood issue than a homeless/vagrant issue.
This is in my viewshed and it is the area beside the old exterminator building and immediately east of that is police-taped off.
