Which items need to be approved before they can demo the Berkeley building?

This just in:

Highwoods in discussions to acquire 307 S. Dawson St, the location of the much anticipated “Nash Square Apartments” in Downtown Raleigh. Source say as soon as the CEO of Highwoods, Ted Klinck, saw the well graded lot he immediately reached out to make an offer on the property.

Story is still developing…stay tuned.

Honestly, just getting rid of the sad weed field makes it look a lot less post-apocalyptic.

Sweet cheeses, this really is just gonna be parking, isn’t it? :sob:

I think so. Honestly great, maybe we can earn Boltman’s business again

They had a public nuisance notice filed over the overgrown weeds last year they’re probably just taking care of it now. Know this makes the empty lot look a lot worse.

Was this a real concept?

Also why are downtown pool club & bars not a more common thing? Seems like there could be a business opportunity there.

Good question. The one at the Unscripted hotel in Durham seems to do quite well.

In July/August, you’d have people dumping their piggy banks to get some sweet relief

Because they’d be 90% urine. Yuck.

how does that differ from any other pool?
