The render I got to see briefly a month or so ago looked pretty good to me. Obviously that’s just my opinion, not everyone shares my tastes.

I was shown it by someone I know. It wasn’t a secret that a rendering exists. I also didn’t get a copy of it or take a picture of it.

Then describe it dude, come on. You’ve said nothing this whole time but you know exactly you what it looks like? I’m not buying it and certainly don’t take what you’ve said so far at face value.
What materials are used? Does the 6 story part taper down or is it just a 6 story box connected to a 9 story box? Is there any sort of crown? What does the pedestal look like since the whole thing is on a platform? Are they burying the utility lines along McDowell? What does the landscaping look like? You risk nothing by sharing details. That’s why I don’t believe you, and I bet others don’t either.

Fwiw, I saw a picture on someone’s phone. It looked like an L shape coming out of the left of my picture above, as the plans we’ve already seen indicated. It seemed to have darker bluish glass components, but that could also be the way half the renderings make stuff appear colored. It looked modern and normal, like many other newly built office buildings. There’s obviously a plaza. I wasn’t trying to be intentionally cryptic, but I only looked at a 4 inch picture for a few seconds. I was happy with the appearance though.

Surely you would have had the person text you the picture so you could blow it up and print it out on a posterboard and study its details every morning when you wake up. Why are you withholding every minute detail from us, you son of a…

I also got a 2 second glance at it on someone’s phone. It wasn’t anything remarkable or brand changing for the city. That’s all that I can remember about the building itself. It did seem to have a rather large plaza area that’s going to be perfect for future protests.
