I have no clue who anyone of them are, but its on the side facing Citrix:
They painted the mural for the 2019 Women’s International Champions Cup that was hosted at WakeMed Soccer Park. The four competing teams were Manchester City, NC Courage, Lyon, and Atletico Madrid and each of these ladies is a player on the teams (at the time).

No one knows how happy I am…
This is a good move by the city:
Looks like the Boylan Ave Bridge is about to get a new mural on the concrete barriers at either end!
If not, at least the graffiti is legible for once!
J. Massullo is the same guy that did the cool eyeball/animal art on those huge concrete pillars off West St (under the train tracks) so this will be another Win for public art in Raleigh. Dude is GOOD.
He was at the Boylan Bridge neighborhood festival last weekend with his concepts for the bridge. They look awesome, and I can’t wait to see it come to life.
Is this good? My gut says no but I’ve been known to be wrong.
Right now it just looks unfinished. It was announced over a year ago, so I’m not sure when it’s actually going to be done. But it’s by the same artist that is doing the murals on the railway supports, so it seems like he’s been busy.
Looks like his instagram is @j.massullo.art – here’s a sample of his stuff:
little too - happy hippy on an acid trip for my taste.
We’ll get someone to emulate the Dutch masters for our next concrete pillar mural…
Nothing says welcome to our modern and vibrant downtown like:
Or even the Wyeth family.
I am with @Phil, for my taste its all a bit much. Still, they are colorful, the artist has a clear style, they aren’t offensive, and they are certainly improvements over blank walls.
I really like these. I think they are super fun.
I’m always happy to see more murals going up. Some I like more and some I like less, but I don’t think I have seen any in Raleigh that weren’t an improvement over having nothing there!
Sorry old dudes, love ya but you’re out of touch. MORE WEIRD ART, PLEASE.
Little Native is preparing for a mural by a local artist on their south facing exterior wall under the pergola. They’re raising money for it now and aiming to have it done this fall
Any artists out there willing to help with a tactical urbanism project in/around Mordecai?
