Posting some photos from an evening walk I went on at either Glenlake office park. Definitely was busy at the time at both Wong’s Tacos and Crooked Hammock Brewery. I am one of the people that would probably avoid Crooked Hammock due to the number of kids that were there. They have food so I’m not really that against people taking their kids.
I do believe that Cooked Hammock is a result of the TC-14-21 text change which allows breweries in CX- zones.
Overall the place does show that it doesn’t really take too much to make a place that active. There are a few more places coming which include Jeff’s Bagel Run and The Granite Grill.
I’m interested in seeing the eventual greenway that goes to the mall.
Separately. I noticed that the skate park area has some fencing around it. I’m not sure if they’re going to be starting on the apartments in this area soon. There was a lot of the brush that was cut down.
Also including some of the new metal sculptures that are now part of the new sidepath on Blue Ridge Rd. I’m already loving the new sidepath and have used it numerous times now.
I dig it. Kind of gives off an Ewok village vibe.

I remember reading they had some kind of materials related delay but we were now moving forward. I think they’re opening later this month or in August.
Standard Foods has their opening on Tuesday. Looking very finished and very nice inside and out. There were people inside so I didn’t take any pics of the interior.
Greenway and bridges are looking good.
Benchwarmers already has bagels inside.
Next round of apartments are well underway.
And Bank of the Ozarks at the corner of St Albans and Wake Forest is coming along.
