Or maybe casual food at upscale prices.

$25 pimento cheese sandwich?
Perhaps Iâm getting my point across.
Narrator: It wonât
Man they (Limani) must have real confidence in the market down here. Their four other locations are all smaller than what this one is supposed to be. Just from googling I found this:
NYC - 8,000 sq feet
Roslyn, NY - 8,000 sq feet
Chestnut Hill, MA - 7,900 sq feet
Charlotte, NC - 7,750 sq feet
Means overpriced food, but you donât have to wear a suit & tie to enjoy it.
My girlfriend and I ate at the Village Tavern a few times back when we were in college at UNCG, itâs one of our favorite restaurants in Greensboro to this day. I think this is a perfect description for it, considering that it is an upscale vibe, but not so upscale that you feel underdressed if you donât have on a suit-and-tie.
I never felt out of place there, even as a broke college student. Granted, we pretty much only went on special occasions (birthday dinners, celebrations, etc). Canât wait for the new location to open up.
Here are some pictures of 1000 Social that I took earlier.
I really like how this area is already somewhat dense in terms of the height of the surrounding buildings. There are a lot of surface lots in between each building though, which will hopefully not be the case in a few years.
Did you get a chance of Raleigh photo of the north hills innovated district
Village Tavern is a staple in Greensboro and Winston Salem. Always consistent. Raleigh is very lucky to have one. Well run establishment. Nice atmosphere, good food, not extravagant in price.
Remember, strip malls are really just big warehouses with a glass wall that the renters decorate. So if owner can kick them out and put up office and apartments itâs a huge increase in value and rent for them.
No, I didnât sorry. I might take some tomorrow, no promises.
Oh okay buddy you take you time
Wow, had no idea how far along this was already!!!
âWaterfrontâ hahahahahahaha - in JoCo? So a muddy pond.
On the one hand, smart to make a play to keep more of your residentsâ tax dollars in your county.
On the other hand, wish theyâd just double down on downtown Clayton. Itâs got good bones, and Main Street seems to be doing pretty well purely based on Google Maps. Youâve got a real town, you donât need a fake one!
No, we all need fake downtowns that we can easily drive to.
Speaking of fake downtowns to drive to, the first residential portions of Hub RTP are finally starting to come out of the ground. I didnât get a picture since I was driving, but the projectâs perimeter is much more finished now. They even have a water feature (creek) in this project. The whole thing is gonna be an interesting experiment we get to watch for a number of years. Not least because it seems all of the components are waiting on a separate entity to fund, build, and activate them. Iâm guessing this will be some apartments with a smoothie shop and nail salon for the next few years, but weâll see.
That looks like the kind of rail can (drive to) get behindâŚ!
