Really? I see a stadium in what looks like the middle of nowhere with parking decks on either side. If this was a rendering for something in Raleigh, people on this blog would be pissed.

That picture (while an excellent one of the arena itself) doesnât do its location justice, itâs right on the Strip, about as urban as Vegas can get - Looks like that picture is taken from the Park MGM tower.

This is going to be cool to see in person. Temperature for game time will be roughly mid 30s, so all the doomsday predictions of the weather being too warm wonât be happening. Looks like Iâll be wearing ski gear to watch the game.

From what Iâve heard, high temps isnât as bad for the ice/game but rain is really bad.

Looking like a bullet has been dodged. As long as the rain is cleared out by Sat am the ice will be in prime shape by early evening especially with the drier cold air moving in overnight on Friday.

The NHL rep from todayâs press conference at Carter Finley said the rain we got on Sunday (12th) was to their benefit with the low temperatures so if the temps dip low overnight it should work out even better. They didnât seem to be worried at all. Ecstatic even.

Basically taking out big sections of seats and adding standing areas and lounge areas. Disappointed it doesnât mention anything about development around the arena. Just a roundabout near the entrance from Edwards Mill.
