That hurt tonight. They need to be a lot less sloppy if there’s gonna be any chance.

At least it’s guaranteed (for now) that Carolina could win the Stanley Cup at home.

That’s one way to look at it. At least it’s guaranteed (for now) that I could be richer then Elon Musk. But I’m not.

Not sure what happened to the defense last night. 4 goals should be enough to win a hockey game. Can’t give up 5 goals an expect to win.

I think they let off the gas once they were up 2-0, thinking this would be a breezy win. Just got punched in the face. Hope they can turn this around.

He’s been overwhelmingly positive about his experiences here and he was critical of something valid. You fly into hockey town for the Stanley Cup and it’s like the airport isn’t even aware it’s happening - c’mon RDU.

If the Hurricanes wanted decorations at RDU, they’d make it happen. Not really on the airport to take this initiative.

Not judging their politics, but Roy Cooper is out there tailgating frequently and then there’s this guy :joy:

Also interesting, the debate we’ve been having here.

The Game 3 watch party did sell out. If you didn’t get tickets and will actually go if you had them, message me, I have a couple extra.

Never mind that Sacramento is pretty darn close to the San Francisco market. It’s like the distance from Greensboro to Raleigh. If Sacramento gets a team, then NC should get 2.

Well Sacramento is ~6x farther from SF than Oakland…

California in general has enough stuff. We’re a fast growing state and need some stuff here! I’ll let MLB know :joy:

I don’t think this any threat to our chances. Its been clear all along that MLB, or at least the Commish, wants a team in the east and in the west. Realistically, I think Sac takes out Portland, and it becomes a race between Sac and SLC. They do seem to be lucking out that the A’s are there for 3 years giving the town a chance to show their support.

Even when the A’s leave Sacramento for Las Vegas, California will still have 4 MLB teams, or one for every (just under) 10M people. NC already has over 11M with no team, and will likely be pushing 12M before a team actually materializes.

Anyone at Moore Square? If so, can you share a photo of the screen they have today?

I’m at Person Street Bar now and plan to swing by Moore Square on my way home to see it.
