This is not really a Charlotte based story but does take place here with Lowes based in the area and a facility where the tiny homes were built but this is a Asheville and Western NC recovery story.

Have to love that WRAL just casually throws in “The shooting in Cary was at least the second at a busy shopping area Friday night, just days before Christmas. In Lumberton, a 42-year-old woman was shot and killed at a Walmart on the 5000 block of Fayetteville Road.”
Lumberton is 100 miles away.

this is no random crime I would think it sounds like they knew each other or a drug deal gone back but sad nonetheless.
Just read the WRAL story. they knew each other and likely was about drugs.

Herzog & de Meuron out of Switzerland was the architect. The garage has been in a commercial and its 7th level hosts events from fashion shows, to film screenings, to wedding receptions.

There was another shooting in Cary. This time it was in front of Burlington Coat Factory. What’s become of our safe, beige burb?
Yeah there’s been 3. One at a home in far northwest Cary (that is basically Morrisville), which means it’s probably some domestic incident. One at that clusterf*ck of retail by Walnut St which is concerning because of all the people around and the shooter still being at large. And then the security guard who shot his fellow weed arrest buddy in his car at the Fenton parking deck and turned himself in right after.
Of course WRAL is acting like there’s a serial killer terrorizing poor, safe Cary. And I saw on the DT Cary Facebook group someone posting the question “Do you still feel safe in Cary after dark anymore?”
