Sites 2 & 3, Omni CC Hotel + Tower

Didn’t realize they were founded/based in Raleigh, but Peter Millar sells some pretty good casual wear, for golf and otherwise.

Looks like you guys were right. Drove by the site yesterday and they’re definitely digging now… so crane timing here will probably take a bit longer. Oh well, love to see the progress!

No big cranes until early Fall, I am guessing. Looking forward to it though!

Ooh! I think they’re building a giant swimming pool!

Or, if we’re lucky, this is the first step of the Fayetteville Street Canal!

You’d probably love it if that was actually our Capital building…

Let’s redirect Pigeon House creek down Fayetteville and we’ll have our own version of River Walk.

To be fair, everyone around here dresses like they are going golfing on a daily basis so you basically called 90% of Raleigh a douchebag. Personally, I wouldn’t be caught dead in a Peter Millar shirt. The clothes are a too douchey for me.

Or perhaps a giant ice skating rink for the 3 weeks it’s cold enough to use.

I tried to beat the sun this morning (and failed) so photos are a bit harsh. Either way, it was a very nice morning as Brewgaloo was getting set up on Fayetteville Street. I spent time peeking around the Omni construction site and it’s a pretty nice view I’ll have to say.

With it getting sunny earlier and earlier and earlier, it’s going to be hard to beat the Sun in the AM for the next few months.

I know. I have this grumpy cat rant against the saying “not a cloud in the sky”. People say that like it’s a good thing. I find it terrible cause it means it’s hotter and there’s more contrast between the sun and shadows making photos look bad. When the sky is full of fluffy clouds, that’s when it’s a perfect day.
