Given the height of the crane, what is the minimum likely height of the building?

So maybe roughly 1 subterranean sex dungeon/satanic temple, 2 underground parking levels, 8 office floors, and 1 penthouse level?

Plus 1 subterranean sex dungeon and satanic temple for General Assembly leadership

Well obviously that…

If we can assume the SECU building is around 200ft, this will only appear slightly shorter!

In order to gaslight us, they are going to build a basement directly under a space they intend to lease to Cosmic Pizza.

You can get both government (State and City) building cranes in one go now.

The trees decided it was time to bloom as well.

Look for 2 more. According to Heede Cranes of Charlotte there will be total of 3 at this site. First one is 263 feet tall and 2 more will be added for a total of 3.

So is this thing really only going to be ten stories? Discuss a letdown if so

I love it! Absolutely not useless!

Government office buildings tend to be like that (even outside of DC’s height limits). As the city of Washington shows, that can lead to some really great architecture or some really hulking disappointments.

If Raleigh ever gets another sports team, they should be the Hulking Disappointments.

It would fit our development culture, plus they’ll probably suck for awhile anyways.

Sorry, I guess this is one of those negativity posts

I have been digging around a bit in order to unravel the mystery of why there are no published specs or drawings for this mammoth project. For starters, I emailed the Dept. of Administration and their response is below. I don’t have time this week to reach out to the person named below. Any volunteers? :grinning:

Good afternoon

Thank you for your inquiry. The new education campus project is not under the purview of NC Department of Administration but rather is being managed by the Legislative Services Office. Their contact information is:
