Haven’t seen you much on here recently. I see you’re back, with a vengeance! Thanks for all the project update pics!
Thanks! Spent most of the Holidays between GA and Florida plus PE exam studying. Fun times. Glad to be back in town. Crazy how different things look after not seeing them for a few weeks.
Some of the exterior insulation is going up now (yellow). And continuing to make its presence known in the skyline. It’s very visible from the money shot too (not pictured.) Too bad it’s gonna be ugly soon!
I’ll still help the skyline and it will be non-Fayetteville street. Sorta help skylines be more west.
I have a feeling that I’m going to be less excited about the skin of this building.
Looking like a real city here with a little city off in the distance and the main city skyline isn’t even in view. You don’t get 2 skylines everywhere y’all.
I’m looking forward to using those rooftop toilets.
LOL I had same reaction when saw pic yesterday.
It will become the ‘main city skyline’ long term the way things are going.
4x 300+ ft buildings will be in that view, along with the dx20 stuff for 3 glenwood and chargrill block, with plenty lots left for more–some of which are already zoned for DX-40 and waiting.
It be lit… Our skyline will really big for us. This us a crucial decade for Raleigh.
Yes, but there is TONS of development in downtown, including Nash square which we now know will feature a 38-story tower
Doesn’t that kinda prove @Vatnos’ point? Nash Square is squarely (no pun intended) in the middle of @OakCityDrone’s shot…
Oh I was thinking he was referring to NH in the background
Yes the yellow exterior sheathing is going up, not to long till we start to see waterproofing, brick and the Exterior insulation finishing system (EFIS).
I always get excited when pictures of your walks start popping up. It means we are in for some good stuff!
