What happened to this thread? Looks like the site got hacked and a bunch of DMs made it into this thread.

Maybe we discuss things related to The Acorn Apartments / Marriott TownePlace Suite at 415 S. Blount Street?

And let’s not follow the general vibe of our country and divide. More love, peeps. More love.

95% of my energy is devoted towards useless negativity and I, for one, think this is still going to be a parking lot.

“The cooler the render, the less likely it will happen” has been a pretty reliable predictor. Hate to say it.

Good news! The render for this particular hotel is ugly as shit!!! Nearly guaranteed to be built as designed!!!

Footers for a parking lot? That’s odd.

What do you think holds the wheelstops in place?

I heard they’re changing plans. The hotel is now going to be a tower defense game.

Is this part of Epic’s restructuring following the recent layoffs?

I think it is interesting that the stairwells are being built by block and not being poured in place. Is this just going to be a stick-built hotel? I figured it was a little too tall for to be just a wooden structure.

Been wondering the same thing, myself. Find it odd that there doesn’t even seem to be a hint of a crane base anywhere… Like, they’re just gonna build this thing by hand, piece by piece??? LOL
