I love the pictures thread but I’d like to break off a closely related topic and allow others to share any videos that show or mention our downtown.
I wanted to share this video of DTR but made in Minecraft. Seems impressive and probably more so if I played the game.

Can we have some real floating trees and cars?
Wow - I guess someone picked up quite the quarantine project.
That minecraft Raleigh was amazing. Had the FNB tower. PNC tower looked almost majestic!
I was reading the YouTube comments. Some people were but hurt that they choose Raleigh over a more ‘megopolis city’. But Raleigh has a nice compact skyline, so why not.
Although looking at the minecraft version of the Wake County jail made me want to start hammering on it with the digging tool. 
I really like it. Don’t about the. flying tress and cars. But it looks nice.
They are welcome to do the same for whatever city they choose.

Wow. That’s an impressive body of work.
Hat’s off to the people that created DTR in Minecraft. I gave some thought to doing something like that in Second life, but decided I did not have the 100’s of hours or so to devote to it. Also the land taxes to create some thing big enough to let people walk around and even have stores and apartments in it would be more than I wanted to spend.
I really like the camera work on this one, and some of the interesting ways that it’s pulled back from a specific place.
