Okay…so after doing a little Googling, it seems the property management (?) company / developer is named Camden, and the project is actually named “Camden Village District” and it’s not a mistake???
WHY on earth would they name the development THAT? It’s almost like they want to intentionally confuse people (transplants/children).
With how prominent the signage is when approaching westbound on Clark, one would think the entire neighborhood/district was called “Camden Village,” and not just the apartment building.
BLASPHEMY!
Okay, apparently it’s been known that these apartments would be named “Camden,” as you guys have been referring to it by that name. I suppose I’m late on that or just didn’t remember.
But still, really…“Camden Village”??? Why would they do that??? Just name the building “Camden” or “Camden Apartments” and leave, omg
Oh yes I had meant to mention this - not only that, but the sign itself (which is on the corner of the new apartment complex, so literally THE first thing you see when driving into the district from downtown) says “Camden Village DISTRICT” - as if they’re actually trying to claim ownership over the whole damn shopping center hahahaha
EDIT: I replied before reading your subsequent comments, and you point out the same thing haha. I mean… I honestly wouldn’t mind if they renamed the whole district “Camden Village District” - at least that has some PERSONALITY to it. “Village District” just sounds so fake and lame lmao
Please refrain from using my photograph with out my agents permission and up front payment of royalties. Thank you, and rest assured, I will remember this.
It’s just an unfortunate coincidence.
Imagine if it The Village District wasn’t renamed; it would be even worse! It would be named Camden Cameron Village.
I mean if this gets people to call it the Camden Village District and eventually for the management co. to officially rename it that … I’m for it lol. “Village District” just sucks, it means NOTHING hahaha
They also have buildings called Camden Old Town (Scottsdale) and Camden City Centre (Houston) and I don’t think people are calling those places “Camden Town” or “Camden City” yet so we’re probably safe
Dang. I thought they were at 50 percent on reservations. That really is too bad. I keep wanting to see more condos downtown but it seems like the market just isn’t here (yet).
