I was just thinking the same thing! They are showing pics of downtown between periods!
City Plaza and the Performing Arts Center were all red.
SkyHouse, Wells Fargo, FNB, Bloc 83 were not red (FNB has red in its cycle so I captured my shots during that window).
Was downtown tonight and just checked some of these out. Not enough red, but Wells Fargo looks great in person, and Bloc83 is always awesome. Excited our city is finally getting some real color at night!
and people ask why i closed my FU accounts as soon as WF bought them. You expect a CA based bank to care about other areas.
Very cool for the ones who participated. Agree with others, we need more participation.
Apparently thereâs supposed to be a ânew buildingâ coming online with lights and I donât think it happened last night. No clue what that really means but keep your eyes out Wed night (or maybe even tonight) for lights on a building that hasnât had them, or maybe itâs just colored lights on a building that hasnât had them, and itâs not Wells Fargo.
They better get the crane up quick and working around the clock if thereâs going to be a ânew buildingâ up by Wednesday!
Watch it end up being the Willard lmao
The Willard Hotel, and both Bloc 83 buildings should light up Red for Canes home games. SECU has lights that Iâve seen glow red. I understand BB&T tower will always âlight upâ green because they just have normal flood lights that illuminate the green crown, and even the Justice Center also has floodlights that light up the blue crown, I believe Iâve seen other colors lit up on it, so they could potentially glow red too. Skyhouse can change their colors as well.
Yeah I think the Justice center has lights that change colors because I couldâve sworn Iâve seen them changing like FNB before.
And here I thought that it was just green for money.
Interesting! Would love to see them upgrade the lighting package on that building; itâs one of the most visible in the city.
As a side note, I wonder if the signage will ever be updated? BB&T merged with/bought SunTrust last year and now goes by Truist. Not that their building logo implementation has been without controversy, though . . .
Ugh god yeah, I love the Hearst Tower and that tacked on, tacky looking signage is so lazy and blatantly cheap.
Yikes that does look terrible!
Wait can someone post a picture of it.
I have no wordsâŚ
U-G-L-Y, you ainât got no alibi, you uglyâŚoooh, oooh, you ugly.
Architect calls it vandalism LOL.
Nothing makes me trust a new company with my money like a stupid name, a thoughtless logo, and uglifying a cool building.
