Mark Rein used to show up to Cars & Coffee in Cary and some other shows around the Triangle pretty regularly, seemed like a cool dude. One time he invited me to sit in his Ferrari 458 Spider completely unprompted. Unfortunately when Epic Games started blowing up, someone apparently tried to follow him home from a car show and understandably he has tried to stay pretty hidden since that happened. Sucks cuz he now has one of the craziest car collections on the east coast.

Russian billionaires tend to like vanity projects, but the one in the Triangle is in Chapel Hill.
ALL of NC"s billionaires live & around Raleigh metro. Just realized Rein actually is a minority owner of the Hurricanes so at least one of them is somewhat interested in helping Raleigh’s sports franchises…
