William Peace and Seaboard Station

Hey, sounds kind of like Tyler’s…and then Oak & Dagger!

What exactly is experiential entertainment anyway (strip club jokes aside)? Like a movie theater or something? 21,000 square feet would possibly be big enough for a six-screen cinema if that’s what they mean.

A really tiny amusement park! (Or probably some IMAX theatre or whatever with vibrating seats)

Bowling alley maybe? I was thinking either that or movie theater myself.

A new age crystals and essential oils church?

Would be cool to land a Pins Mechanical bar. They would fill up 21,000 sq ft. Went to the one in Charlotte last summer and had a good time.

Also, Drive Shack has started building indoor puttery’s around the US. They’re roughly 20-23k sq ft. They just opened one in Charlotte. Not sure if they would do one here since they already have the DriveShack driving range location.

I read experiential entertainment as an “all-of-the-above” idea. Just something to attract people who want to do something after eating dinner / shopping / etc., that’s not just drinking. Some newer ones besides the obvious are VR experiences and interactive “art museums” like the selfie museum.

@JKK there’s an indoor putt-putt course in Garner, Par-tee Shack, that’s pretty fun.

Went to Pins and Puttery last weekend actually. Both were a blast. Either would be a great addition here

More clues from the site review submittal…

  • Probably not a movie theater with this column grid layout?

  • Ceiling height for this space is double height, roughly 27 feet slab-to-slab.

This is a great location for a Chuck E. Cheese.

That would be premier, the most prestige. Duke it out at Chuck E Cheese over some games with luxury pizza. Elevated times with futuristic, technological critter band.

Pins Mechanical Company - ‘When life gives you balls, you play with them’…LoLs…
Why does the punniest nonsense stick like last night’s mistake in all the worst places…?
'When you can’t jerk it yourself, check out who’s posing on our ‘gram wall’!?
Why not just call it CornerstOH L@nes?
Duckpin bowling and a retro vibe to hang out, yes.
Faux ivy walls with photo-ready nonsensical statements for ever-more-douchetastic customers…?
Gosh, if we have to end up in same-ness-land - can’t we at least find a layer of originality ?

An indoor trampoline park.

From the TBJ, Hoffman & Associates announced that Block A of Seaboard Station will be complete in winter of 2022!

Construction for Block B is expected to start this summer, and be done in the summer of 2024. Block C “will begin construction following the completion of the second phase”, though, and it’s still under administrative review.

Have they shuffled their Block “letters” around or is TBJ confused? Originally, Block A was the old Sunflowers block on Peace St, B is the current one closest to completion and C was the old Phydeaux block.

I think they did -and they realized it, too, and quietly corrected that  That paragraph now reads:

The classy, ethical thing to do would’ve been to add a blurb to say they made a correction and apologize for the mistake, but… :man_shrugging:

Random question: why are all new restaurants called ‘food concepts’ these days? What’s wrong with the word restaurant?

Or talking about their “beverage program”…it’s your drink list.
