The warehouse district‘s newest nightclub / parking lot
Social distancing between warehouse district and Fayetteville street district
call me optimistic but see survey stakes as if marking out a foundation. Has anything been announced for this lot???
I don’t think officially. Could also be lines for curbs.
Tear down a building and put up a parking lot. hay, la a la.
Joni Mitchell Lyrics
“Big Yellow Taxi”
They paved paradise
Put up a parking lot
With a pink hotel, a boutique
And a swinging hot spot
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got 'til it’s gone?
They paved paradise
Put up a parking lot
They took all the trees
And put them in a tree museum
Then they charged the people
A dollar and a half just to see 'em
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got 'til it’s gone?
They paved paradise
Put up a parking lot
Hey, farmer, farmer
Put away that DDT now
Give me spots on my apples
But leave me the birds and the bees
Please!
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got 'til its gone?
They paved paradise
Put up a parking lot
Late last night I heard the screen door slam
And a big yellow taxi took away my old man
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got 'til it’s gone?
They paved paradise
Put up a parking lot
I said
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got 'til it’s gone?
They paved paradise
Put up a parking lot
They paved paradise
Put up a parking lot
They paved paradise
Put up a parking lot
$1.50 always seemed like a reasonable admission for the tree museum.

Could be a Burger King with a drive-thru!! You guys would like that. lol
It would be a fine place for Bojangles or Cook-Out to test out an urban concept.
That would be a mistake
Not at all! There aren’t enough Bojangles or Cook-Outs around!
The hell?? That is random as F, the way it just cuts through the middle and zig-zags midway…
I think it cuts in to allow for parking spaces. This is how I’m envisioning it:
That makes sense…
I could see that. One thing to note is that there is a retaining wall and significant grade change at the western edge of this lot where the property adjoins the existing parking lot (just off the right side of the photo), so they’ll need to address that.
And what will that randomly shaped piece on the left be? These are the only uses I can think of right now:
- Hand sanitizer mixologist
- Toilet paper dispensary
- Face mask sewing collective
Looks like a great place for a
