I don’t get it. I assume they mean partially topped off, not partially social distancing. That building ain’t topped off yet!!
I guess they were celebrating topping off that giant parking garage part?
Lol. That has to be a joke. It would be a travesty to have that large deck and two floors of office space.
Please don’t dislike my post. I didn’t write it.
Relaaaaaax. It’s just the parking garage portion.
That’s how I read it. The rest of the actual building is narrower and probably structured differently. So a partial top is done. If we think it’s been a long, slow slog… imagine the people working on it every day!
Dang that parking deck is massive. I know we’ve all commented on it, but sometimes it just strikes one anew.
The office portion is gonna destroy our husky boy’s figure!!
You can now see this project as part of our skyline from I-440-E / Wake Forest Rd. bridge .
I just noticed it this evening coming into DTR on Capital Blvd South.
From Wye Hill.
We’ve talked alot about RalX/Husky’s height in relation to the Holiday-Hair Curler, but any guess’s (or facts) about its relation to the Archdale? From @softfurrykitty’s photos it looks like it could be pretty close.
I’m guessing there is an elevation difference between there and 301H as the Archdale doesn’t even break 200 ft (I think).
Looking at iMaps, the Archdale building sits at roughly 340 and 301H is at 350.
Archdale is considerably further north than most buildings downtown, hence its prevalence in the skyline from the north
Starting to be prominent from Dix Park. You can also see One and Two Glenwood and a few other newly built projects.
Heritage Properties’ 18-story project behind Two Glenwood will absolutely dominate this view when constructed. I wonder when the massing will be revealed.
Indeed… now just imagine the (potentially) 40 story RUSbus tower to the left of The Dillon…
it’s rising so much faster now that they are done with the deck and those diagonal slabs.
